Paraules històriques
Tot i que no sabem què està passant però intuïm que s’apaguen focs, s’ha d’agrair que, almenys (i per fi), la Comissió Europea reconegui i adopti la Fedi. Veurem com avança la cosa però, de moment, m’ha fet contenta llegir que donen les gràcies a l’EDPS i que es postulin com a node de referència per a qualsevol institució interessada en participar a la Fedi.
En fi, tot just comença. Aviam com va, però definitivament, això és històric. I m’he emocionat perquè intuïa que arribaria un moment així però no em pensava que ho viuria. Ka fort!

Hi ha gent que comenta coses interessants. Els subdominis, per exemple. L’altre era més genèric: “social.network.europa.eu”. El d’ara, només és per la Comissió Europea: “ec.social-network.europa.eu”. I és clar, es perd la info de l’antic. En fi, “algo es algo”:
The old one was social-network.europa.eu and it looked like it would be used by several EU institutions. The new one is prefixed with EC, which seems like it’s meant for the sole use of the European Commission… The old one is no longer reachable, which means all previous posts were lost in the process. Odd move, I must say.

So instead of a general EU instance at “social.network.europa.eu” there’s now a single instance for the European Commission only at “ec.social-network.europa.eu”?
I’m happy that you’re still here, but wow that seems like a waste of resources. Running the instance for the EC only is no more work than running one at one level higher for all of the EU institutions
